Keith Johnson, President
Keith is the founder of RCI Consulting, helping companies with strategy, development and execution of rapid continuous improvement methodologies. He is the author of the book “How to identify and charter a lean six sigma project – tips and tricks learned the hard way”, available both in hardcopy and e-book.
Keith has over 25 year’s expertise in continuous improvement, both as a consultant and corporate executive. The 30+ companies he has helped have generated hard savings of $15 to $200 million per year, by focusing on customer needs and eliminating waste. He has directly designed process improvement deployments to execute strategy, and guided leadership through the change at seven different companies. He is also a sought after facilitator for all levels of Lean Six Sigma strategy and training, having trained over 1500 executives, project sponsors, master black belts, black belts and green belts.
Previously, Keith built the lean six sigma deployment as the Rapid Continuous Improvement leader at Dr Pepper Snapple Group, was a principal at Accenture, an Engagement Director at George Group and a Master Black Belt at Celanese Chemicals. He has a BS in Chemical Engineering and is a certified Master Black Belt. Keith is married with two children and lives in Coppell, Texas.
John Miller, Principal Consultant
John Miller is a leader in operations improvement with broad experience in service and manufacturing. He works with client executives and project teams to achieve business results by improving the cost, speed, and quality of their processes. He also focuses on building process improvement skills within the client organization through training and coaching. John’s experience spans all levels of process improvement, from assessing operations and identifying high-impact opportunities, to personally executing projects, to developing and leading enterprise-wide initiatives for operations improvement. He has served in a variety of key roles over the past 20 years to include line management, Lean Six Sigma deployment, and general management consulting.
John is a graduate of MIT’s Leaders for Global Operations program with an MBA and MS in Mechanical Engineering, and is a certified Master Black Belt. He is married with one son and based in Fort Worth, Texas.

Dan Blackwell, Principal Consultant
Dan has thirty years of expertise in continuous improvement, both as a consultant and corporate practitioner. One of his strengths is the ability to apply proven Lean Six Sigma business improvement methodologies to each client’s unique culture and processes to achieve sustained bottom line results in a broad variety of business environments and countries.
Dan is a planning and scheduling expert with experience in many business environments using multiple ERP platforms. In addition to earning Master Black Belt certification, he has become a Lean Master with vast experience delivering bottom line financial results through leading large improvement projects and Kaizen events. He has a BS in Industrial Engineering. Dan and his family live in Austin, Texas.

Kevin Mindenhall, Principal Consultant
Kevin has over 20 years of management consulting experience focused on process and performance improvement. He is an innovative Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt with in-depth performance improvement, value creation, project and program management, training, business development and team building skills. Kevin has broad and deep experience in multiple industries including government, financial services, manufacturing, high tech, telecom, distribution, mining, energy, higher education and aerospace & defense. He is adept at implementing changes with top and bottom line impact, overcoming significant time, technology and cost constraints.

Deep experience with public service
– Generated more than $60 million in annual project portfolio savings by serving as deployment leader for large scale transformation effort for US Army. He led efforts in the Pentagon for headquarters organizations, Army G-1, Human Resources and G-8, Programming and Financial Planning. In this role he trained over 200 Project Sponsors and 400 leaders.
– He led efforts to streamline services for Wounded Warriors and families that resulted in a one-stop service website integrating multiple organizations and service lines for wounded soldiers.
– Project Manager for US Postal Service Flats Sequencing System Lean Six Sigma improvements, reporting to USPS FSS program director and sponsored by the current Postmaster General. Led first phase end-to-end process analysis that identified over 100 improvement initiatives prioritized into in a 3 year road map.
– Senior Lean Consultant for State of Colorado Lean Implementation. Kevin has worked with multiple State Departments, leading project selection workshops, conducting training workshops, engaging leaders in deployment structure and planning.
Francisco Melero, Principal Consultant
Francisco Melero provides consulting, training, and coaching in the areas of organizational and personal performance excellence. His career includes experiences with large organizations as well as small entrepreneurial ventures, governmental departments, and non-profit agencies. Ten years at International Business Machines (IBM) fueled Francisco’s interest in performance excellence; an interest which energizes his engagement in personal and professional projects to this day. In his different capacities at IBM, he contributed to the quality of the company’s software products, the advancement of the internal Market Driven Quality (MDQ) initiative, and the certification to the ISO 9001 standard. Major responsibilities included quality assurance, project management, internal consulting and training, and contributing to the ISO 9001 certification effort as a lead assessor.
A life-long learner, Francisco has a B.S. in mathematics and computer science, a M.A. in management, and is pursuing a Doctor of Management degree (currently, all but dissertation).
A passionate student of many fields, Francisco has a personal library of over 2500 books in his home studio. Two of his favorite quotes are: “When the student is ready, the teacher will appear” and “Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day; teach him how to fish and he will eat for a lifetime”. Francisco and his wife live in Tuscan, Arizona and are expecting their first child.
