Execution
Sometimes a large deployment is not needed, urgent issues need to be address (where training internal resources would take too long) or a “proof of concept” is needed to demonstrate how process improvement works in your business. RCI experts are therefore available on demand to directly drive improvements in your process, either by Kaizen Facilitation (small to medium scope) or Project Execution (medium to large scope).
Kaizen Facilitation
For a small to medium sized issue, kaizen can transform a process within one to three months. A Kaizen Event is a full-time, one week workshop to improve a process that will have a significant business impact.
Our kaizen expert will ensure proper preparation for the event, facilitate the workshop that is attended by your subject matter experts, work with the team to develop and document solutions, then create a practical action plan to start seeing immediate improvements. This approach is an accelerated application of the lean six sigma (DMAIC) methodology.
Prework begins a few weeks prior to the Kaizen Event week, and solutions start to be implemented during the Kaizen Event.
Project Leadership
For a medium to large sized issue, Project Leadership can address any size process improvement opportunity. You still have to provide subject matter experts and access to the right resources, but one or more of our Master Black Belt project leaders will organize the project from start to finish. Large issues are broken down into separate projects, and solved simultaneously for faster results.
