Readiness Assessment

Results = Quality of the Solution x Acceptance

Improvement teams rarely fail to apply the tools and identify great solutions. Resistance to change is unfortunately a common risk for all initiatives, but this risk can be mitigated. Our team works with your leadership to measure and assess the change readiness of each parts of your organization. Our Readiness Dashboard will help you pick the right path, and prepare your teams for success.

Executive Workshop

Breakthrough change occurs when strategy meets the right tools for strategy execution. During a one day workshop, your leadership team will spend the morning experiencing process improvement tools through an interactive simulation called Rapid Jet. It’s a fast paced, engaging way to learn process improvement basics and will start to identify and document major opportunities areas. The leadership team is asked to make some of the more strategic deployment design decisions and a subset will become the steering committee members.

DEPLOYMENT DESIGN

This workshop is designed to dramatically accelerate the process of completing the many decisions necessary for an organization to successfully deploy Lean Six Sigma. RCI staffs this workshop with senior resources that have broad experience deploying Lean Six Sigma in similar organizations. They provide broad subject matter experience in each area of deployment decision making.

Project Identification and Selection

Project opportunities come many places – strategy, voice of the customer, financial reports, company scorecards, middle management and as spin-off ideas from previous projects.  RCI provides easy to follow tools and guidance to identify and prioritize the critical few opportunities that should be chartered and assigned to project leaders. This can be done as site and regional assessments, as well as part of executive or leadership workshops.

Candidate Selection

RCI has developed a list of criteria to evaluate potential Green Belts, Kaizen Leaders, Black Belts and Master Black Belts and works with clients on vetting and interviewing candidates.   Kaizen Leader candidates require strong facilitation skills, leadership, flexibility and lateral thinking.  Master Black Belt candidates must have all the requirements of other project leader roles, plus ability to master the advanced tools and statistics to become teachers and coaches themselves.

Program Management

Ongoing program management provides follow-up to any design implementation decisions and action items from the deployment design kaizen, sharing of best practices with the client leadership teams, high level analysis of client value drivers and coordination of our team.  A trusted adviser is always there to support ongoing deployment questions, ensure transparent communications and remove barriers to achieving results.
